Focus Mountaineering

I’ve been out in the Northern Cairngorms this week with a summer ML training group looking at navigation, security on steep ground and a whole range of group management issues. Its been pretty chilly out with winter conditions just round the corner – but not here yet.  Last weekend’s snow melted pretty quickly to leave the hills black and bare and the occasional heavy snow flurries since haven’t stuck.
